The Essex Commemoration project a searchable database, provided in association with ‘Boreenatra’, who has kindly provided all the photos of the memorials and headstones found in this project.
The mission is to record all the commemorations placed by family, friends and IWGC / CWGC to those who died in service of their country, as well as civilian casualties killed by enemy action.
The focus is on Essex both past and present and the commemorations found in the various cemeteries listed below.
UPDATE: ‘Boreenatra’ sadly passed away in late 2024, we will continue to host Essex Commemoration Project in his memory but will not be updating or adding to the database.
