As thousands gathered in London to watch the RAF100 flypast, those at work were given the opportunity to start lunch early and go out to see this wonderful spectacle as it made its way over East London.

The Hainault Industrial estate came to a standstill, workers lined the pavements all staring at the sky, a rather cloudy dark sky. Mobile phones held up and even some with binoculars. Others stood on the roofs and the traffic stopped.
